Northern Oregon Amateur Packet Radio Association

NOAPRA Background and Purpose

The Northern Oregon Amateur Packet Radio Association (NOAPRA) was formed in the spring of 2003 for the purposes of: establishing and operating digital node stations for non-commercial use by amateur digital radio operators and for emergency communications; developing new applications and methods of using wireless amateur digital radio for general non-commercial use and emergency communications; and providing education to the amateur digital operators in wireless digital radio operation and emergency communications.

This site contains information and links to resources that we have either developed or have found helpful. The intent of this site is to be a resource for knowledge and technical documentation as it relates either directly or indirectly to digital radio operations. The site is an ongoing work in progress and new information will be added as it is developed.

The Northern Oregon Amateur Packet Radio Association is registered with the Oregon Secretary of State Corporation Division. The association is non-profit, and maintains a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service.
